How Essential Oils Work
How exactly do essential oils work to keep our bodies and our environments clean and fresh? We say that nebulizers clean the air and remedies such as Immune will kill germs on contact. This is amazing, but how?
Essential oils are complex volatile organic compounds that have a multitude of functions. Tiny molecules absorb into the human body via the skin and the nose/olfactory system to perform a variety of functions. One of their functions in nature is to protect plants from predators and pests, so they are naturally protective to humans as well! They have the ability to neutralize and combat toxins, purifying the air we breathe.
